BEEN BUSY WITH SOME TEETH...SORRY

Well, its been a while since I have posted. My mom and dad were not getting any sleep...I was busy working on 2 Big Pearly Whites! Thats right 2 of em. Today was so much fun - I went to the park in the Pearl with mommy and daddy. We splashed and played until we were all soaked. Then I crused around the pavers, and the grass.

COHEN WEIGHS IN

For those of you who may not know, I am 6 months old today. I am rolling all across the room - and I push my head down on the floor and scoot the best I can. I am enjoying peaches, pears, sweet potatos, squash, bananas, frozen bananas, teething bisquits and pear juice. I am not a fan of my soy formula or green beans or peas.

My daddy likes to take me for lots of bike rides, it makes mommy nervous but I think its so fun. Mommy prefers long walks on MLK....not quite as romantic as the beach, but it works for now. She takes me to this wonderful place with nice music and lots of green. She always orders this thing in a cup and it makes her in a good mood....I think I heard her call it Starbucks once. She gets really grumpy when she runs out of time to go there first in the morning.

I now spend my Thursdays with Ashley......she is the love of my live. With brown ringlet curls and beautiful eyes, I just love to play with her all day.

I also got my shots today ....OUCH! The doctor says I am almost 20 pounds and 27 inches. He told me Im in the 90th percentile for my weight and he told mommy good job!

Well, dad has the bike ready to go, Im off for a ride so mommy can get some work done.

MY NEW HOME

Mommy and Daddy decided their was too much excitement near our house. So they are moving me out to Tigard! Away from the wonderful Portland that I love. I will miss the red and blue lights that used to illuminate my room late at night through the windows. The sirens and loud crashes when people woudl hit the wall across the street from our house. I will have a nice big yard however and much more room to play. My new house is a little out dated but I think Mommy and Daddy can fix it up really nice. Daddy keeps telling mom about all the tools he will need to make the house nicer - but dont worry moms a smart cookie, she sees right through it!

I WENT TO THE BEACH THIS WEEKEND WITH MY MOM AND DAD - AND OUR FRIENDS JAMES AND AMY.....THEY HAVE A PUPPY NAMED HURLEY, HE PLAYS WITH TETLEY BUT TETLEY NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO SHARE. HE GETS KINDA GROWLEY WITH HIM!

DADDY REALLY HAD FUN SHOWING ME OFF TO ALL OF HIS FRIENDS - EVERYONE THOUGHT I WAS PRETTY CUTE. I THINK IT WAS 50 / 50 ON WHO I LOOKED LIKE....I WAS SO CONFUSED ONE PERSON TOLD ME I LOOKED JUST LIKE MY DAD AND THEN SOMEONE ELSE TOLD ME I LOOKED LIKE MY MOM. I THINK I LOOK LIKE COHEN, AND IF MOM OR DAD EVEN VAGUELY RESEMBLE ME - THEY SHOULD FEEL LUCKY!

TOMORROW I GO TO MY COUSINS NATE'S HOUSE FOR HIS BIRTHDAY PARTY. I CANT WAIT TO MEET MORE OF MY GREAT AUNT'S AND SECOND COUSINS.

I HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH LIZ AND PHILLIP AND THEIR FRIEND. SHE WAS PRETTY CUTE - BUT A LITTLE OLD FOR ME ... AT LEAST MY MOM SAYS SHE IS......THE NEXT DAY TETLEY AND I WERE SO TIRED WE TOOK A LONG LONG NAP.....TOMORROW I GO ON MY FIRST AIRPLANE RIDE. MOM AND DAD THINK I AM GOING TO BE A GOOD BOY AND SLEEP ON THE PLAY.....HEHEHE LITTLE DO THEY KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE.....I DONT WANT TO GIVE IT AWAY SO I WILL UPDATE YOU WHEN WE GET BACK!

14 POUNDS 15 OUNCES ....24 INCHES LONG...I KNOW IM A HUNKA CHUNK

YESTERDAY I WENT TO THE DOCTOR FOR MY 2 MONTH CHECK UP......I WEIGHED IN AT 14 POUNDS 15 OUNCES AND WAS 24 INCHES LONG. MY MOM COULDNT BELIEVE HOW BIG I GOT! THE DOCTOR SAID NOT TO WORRY CHUBBY BABIES ARE HEALTHY BABIES AND THAT I LOOKED GREAT. I WAS A LITTLE EMBARRESSED - THE DOCTOR WAS ASKING ABOUT MY DEVELOPMENT AND SO OF COURSE SHE HAD TO TELL HIM ABOUT MY PRODIGY ROLLING OVER....I BLUSHED....BUT ITS TRUE IM PRETTY AMAZING FOR A 2 FOOTER.

APPARENTLY MOM & DAD ARE ALL EXCITED BECAUSE I AM SLEEPING LONGER NOW. PERSONALLY I LIKES THE 3:30 SNACK BUT I GUESS THEY PREFER A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. SO WE COMPROMISE THEY HAVE FROM 9-5 TO SLEEP BUT NOT A MOMENT MORE. BY 5 AM I AM ONE HUNGRY BOY - AND THEY BETTER NOT FORGET MY 8 AM CHASER!

ANYWAYS, I ALSO GOT MY SHOTS YESTERDAY .... GRANDMA SAYS I MUST GET MY GOOD SHOT TAKING ABILITY FROM MY DAD....IT THINK SHE WAS IMPLY THAT MY MOMS A WUS....BUT THAT MAKES NO SENSE....IM SURE MY MOM CAN HANDLE SHOTS JUST FINE. I DIDNT REALLY CRY AND I LAUGHED IN BETWEEN SHOTS, BUT .... A COUPLE HOURS LATER I WAS PRETTY CRANKY AND HAD A LITTLE FEVER - BUT TODAY IS A NEW DAY AND AFTER 8 HOURS OF SLEEP I AM READY TO HAVE A GOOD DAY TODAY.

NEXT WEEK I GET TO GO TO NANA AND PAPAS HOUSE - THEY ARE THROWING ME AND MY COUSIN SUMMER A PARTY. I CANT WAIT FOR THE WORLDS CUTEST BABIES TO MAKE THEIR DEBUT....YEAH ITS TRUE I KNOW IM CUTE....

SUMMER IS HERE......MY COUSIN SUMMER

SUMMER FINALLY CAME TO SEE ME. WE ARE HAVING SO MUCH FUN, SHE LIKES TO PAT MY HEAD AND MAKE LOUD SCREAMING NOISES....I CANT WAIT UNTIL I CAN SCREAM AT MY MOMMY AND DADDY TOO! SHE WIGGLES ALL AROUND AND STANDS UP HOLDING ONTO THE OTTOMAN. UNCLE JUSTIN THINKS I LOOK LIKE A MIDGET BECAUSE I HAVE SHORT LEGS AND A BIG TUMMY - I THINK HE LOOKS LIKE A GIANT. WELL, I HAVE TO GO PLAY WITH SUMMER NOW AND GET LOTS OF CUDDLES FROM MY AUNTIE AMY - BUT I WILL UPDATE MORE LATER!

BABY SHOWER #3

My great aunt cyndie threw me a shower last weekend. It was so fun, I got passed around like a hot potato.
I got almost 500 diapers and bath stuff and some cute outfits. I also got a Monkey that talks with my aunt cyndies voice .... weird !
My mom had a mimosa - it was so good - I have never napped so good in my life :)
This weekend I get to meet my cousin Summer and my Aunt Amy and Unce Justin. I am so excited they come in to town tomorrow. I have been meeting so many new people. 2 weekends ago I went on a road trip to Seattle. We stayed with Uncle Bill and Linda - it was very cold in North Bend, but I got lots of attention!
I got to meet mom's friends Nicole and Liz. They think Im hot stuff! I had so much fun gazing and cooing at them.

Baby Dedication

I got dedicated on Sunday - I had lots of family come to see the big event. All of my great grandmas (even my great nana) came and my grandma, grandpa, and nana. We all went up for the dedication including my uncle jeff and god mother claire. Afterwards lots of people came to my grandmas house for food and fun. I got passed around all day and rolled over for everyone like 10 times.
I turned one month yesterday - I am so big allready my mom wants me to stop growing so fast.

I ROLLED OVER

OK, so heres the deal, grandma and I were playing on the floor in my nursery. (Mom had to work....shes supposed to be on maternity leave...but apparently she was needed) I got really tired of "tummy time" so I rolled over onto my back.

Grandma told Mommy and Daddy but they didnt believe her. I was laughing on the inside :)

So yesterday daddy had me on my stomach....again.... and apparently he didnt get the hint that I dont like tummy time, so I rolled over for him too....and then he wanted to show mommy so I had to do it a 3rd time.

Anyways, I think mom and dad are really impressed, they think Im amazing!

ALMOST 3 WEEKS!

Well, I turn 3 weeks tomorrow, I cant believe how quickly time is going by. My mommy and daddy have been keeping me very busy. I was 10 pounds 3 ounces this week, I have been growing very well. Probably because I like to eat so much! I am starting to be a little fussy - I dont want mom and dad to get any rest! Every now and then I give them a break at night and sleep for 4 hours, but only some times, I really like to keep them guessing!

Tomorrow I get to take a trip to Skamania lodge. My mom is going to eat crab - Im a little nervous about whether or not Im going to like crab milk, but hopefully it will be good. Its my moms favorite. She is having a business planning weekend with grandma and grandpa so dad and I get to go along and stay at the lodge and eat yummy food while they talk business :) Dont worry, I'll put up pictures and let you know what I think of the milk...I can allready tell you peanut butter milk - not so good for my tummy. Mommy and daddy learned their lesson on that one!

Here are some exciting things I did last week ...

well, this was the week I came home, my mom and dad gave me my first bath.... i didnt like it very much, but my second bath they let me soak in the warm water and i thought that was great! i splashed my feet and cooed and oogled!

This was my first trip to the mall, I am just over one week old but I really wanted to see my auntie claire in action at Nordies.

I know its hard to believe but I am only one week and 2 days here. This was me getting ready to leave for my first church service. PS. the music was really good and i got to go in a special room and have a snack with my mom and grandma...

Well, I just think me and my daddy are very cute. Probably the cutest boys in my moms life.
