I'm home!

I am finally home. After 6 days in the hospital, the doctors let me come home. Mommy had an infection so they had to keep her in the hospital so she could get antibiotics. I as breathing really fast, so the doctors put me in the nursery and hooked me up to monitors and an IV for fluids and antibiotics. But all my tests came back negative and I didn't have an infection. Mommy and Daddy got to have me back in their hospital room on Christmas morning, I was their favorite present, of course. We got to have Christmas in the hospital with all my family, Grandma and Grandpa, Nana and Papa, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Brendon and Auntie Hayley. Lots of people came to see me. They all think I am adorable.

Now that I am home, its so easy going and comfy. I get to sleep all the time(we have to wake him up to feed him in the night) and I get to eat all the time, feeding is easy, I'm a natural. I got to take my first bath at home today and I also took my first trip to Grandma and Grandpas house to visit for a bit after my check up at the doctors office. I go in next Friday for my two week check and circumcision, ouch! But its cool, I'm a touch baby. My mom is doing great, she is recovering well and feeling good. Dad is getting sleep too and takes great care of Mommy and me. I can't wait to show you all more pictures. Bye for now.

See some pictures of me and my family

I love sleeping with Daddy!

On my way home from the Hospital, finally, the day after Christmas.

I love my Mommy, and I fall asleep after I eat.

off to the doctor

We are off to the doctors today to see how little Cohen is doing. My mom is going with me, and she loves it. Hopefully all will be well and we will get some information on when our ultrasound is going to be. I really want to know if its going to be 4 weeks or 6 weeks. Thats a long time when you are carrying 20 pounds around......not to mention the numbers seem to go up every week!

I did do some shopping Tuesday ....
Christmas Outfit
And of course the hat to match

I loved it so much, I just couldnt resist.

Ethan and I are so ready for Cohen to be here. The nights are getting hard to sleep thanks to achey legs and hips - and Ethan cant seem to sleep through my snoring. We did buy our crib ( )this weekend and Ethan has it all put together so his rooom is starting to look like a real nursery. I cant believe I have 7 more weeks to go, I just want him to be here now.

They say the home stretch is always the hardest and the longest and I understand that now. The days go by so slow and my mind is preopcupied by by growing stomach and all the movements and contractions I feel inside. Maybe this blog will be a good way to pass the next few weeks since Im sure Ethan is tired of listening to me complain about being achey and a guy can only look at all the baby things so many times before getting tired of it.

My new project is the bumper. I finally found the material that 5 fabric stores failed to have. Its called sandcaslte. I need to order that today in light blue....

Ok well thats all for now, I need to get back to the work I have been putting off ....
